Gazanfar appreciated the outpouring of sympathy and solidarity from his friends, neighbours, family, colleagues, senior officers, prominent political figures, religious leaders, Imams and media fraternity, in his moment of grief, which provided him immense solace and strength. He expressed his gratitude to all those, who visited him or condoled him on telephone or text messages.
