Srinagar: A 36-year-old teacher was among two people killed in Shangus area of Anantnag district and Pampore area of Pulwama district on Thursday.
Quoting officials, the news agency GNS reported that a man lost control over his scooty near Shangus and fell down the road, resulting his on spot death.
He has been identified as Ajaz Ahmad Shah (36), son of Ali Mohammad Shah, resident of Brah Ranipora Achabal. He was a teacher by profession, they said.
Police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
Meanwhile, a man lost his life while another sustained injuries after their motorcycle was struck by an unidentified vehicle in Kadalbal area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The deceased has been identified as Sahil Maqbool, son of Mohammad Maqbool Khanday, resident of Latterbal Pampore and pillion rider as Sahil Ashraf Guroo, son of Mohammad Ashraf, resident of Tulbagh Pampore, reports said.
