Season Of Sowing Seeds: Emblem Of Economic Prosperity

In the intricate tapestry of sowing seeds, thronging masses in villages and markets to acquire hybrid seeds reflects a flood of memories from the bygone era when people used to visit hi-tech ploy houses to bring different seedlings of vegetables. This serves them as a primary source of income. Initially, this sprouting of seeds requires painstaking surveillance and nourishment.
Increased demand for vegetables and fruits has resulted in an increase in demand of seedlings. Farmers in the month of March-April are busy in sowing different seeds with an aim to earn economic returns and future prosperity. Agriculture is the most important occupation in Kashmir and is important for any region to alleviate rural poverty, ensure food security and create job opportunities for the people living in rural and urban areas. Kashmir is well known for its paddy crop followed by maize, oilseeds, vegetables etc, the people living in agri-abundant areas are engaged in preparing a particular piece of land known as (𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘫𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘥)for paddy seedlings–after being scattered to entire land for yielding crop production. The preparation involves especially rice sowing–the ploughing of land, removing of weeds and pumping of water into the soil.
The seedling season is in full swing across the state. From the farmer’s point of view, If the farmers can’t sow seeds at the proper time, it will disrupt the whole agricultural process. Most farmers cultivate paddy which serves as a cash crop. Apart from seedling vegetables and flowers are a great source of spring revenue and an early draw for customers.
Economically, seed plants occupy a significant part in flowing of food production. Many seed plants are cultivated for their fruits, grains, and nuts, which form the basis of human and animal diets. Crops such as wheat, rice, corn and soybeans are major sources of calories and nutrients. Numerous traditional medicines are derived from seed plants. Many seed plants are grown for their aesthetic value.
The economic value of plants is measured by their price in the market economy. When seedlings turn into plants–then these plants from an economic point of view are used in medicine and provide a number of drugs. Also, plants give us pleasure through gardening to us. No plant in the world is useless. Knowledge about the useful properties of plants should be known to each of us. General masses should be well acquainted with the ethical as well as medicinal properties of their surrounding vegetation particularly for their well-being. Recalling the mesmerizing tapestry of sowing paddy seeds around Kashmir Valley- embarks the beginning of new production. Most economic sustainability is carved out of these seedling plantations. Kashmir Valley has the unique distinction of having a seasonal advantage of producing vegetables.
People have started taking a keen interest in conventional and organic farming, both in agricultural and vegetable produce. Sowing is the process of planting seeds in the garden. People while sowing seeds determine optimism that prosperity lies in agricultural production. Sowing seeds is the most important part of agriculture. Plants can’t grow without seeds. The type of seeds sown decides the quality of crops that would come out of it. During the agricultural process proper precautions should be taken, including appropriate depth and proper distance maintained and soil should be clean healthy and free from diseases. Overall sowing and cultivation of seeds is an emblem of prosperity.
