Union Jt Secy Panchayati Raj, Dir RDD review MGNREGA, PMAY-G schemes in Pampore

Pampore: Joint Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj Government of India Vikas Anand along with director, Rural Development (RDD) Kashmir Shabir Hussain on Wednesday conducted an extensive tour of Pampore block to take on spot appraisal of the completed and ongoing various RDD works.
The Joint Secretary along with the Director Rural Development department reviewed the physical and financial progress of various RDD schemes in a meeting with the Officers.
The meeting was attended by ACD Pulwama Dr Farhat Fayaz, Block Development Officer Pampore Mohammad Ashraf, BDC Chairman Pampore Mir Altaf Ahmad, Visiting officer Prof Tariq Ahmad, RDD PA Rohit Dogra, a local Sarpanch Mir Adil Ahmad and other officers and PRIs members, All frontline workers were present on the occasion.
Anand reviewed the status of different flagship programmes including Capex Budget (CD &Pyt Sector), Construction of DDC/ BDC Offices, RGSA, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), PMAY-G and 14th FCA.
It was informed that Pampore block has almost achieved the set target for generated under MGNREGA, officials told Kashmir Reader.
During the programme, the Joint secretary along with all the concerned officials visited the different projects at Konibal village of block Pampore and reviewed the various construction works. He urged the officers along with him to complete all the projects within the stipulated period. He expressed satisfaction regarding development works in the Pampore block.
The Joint Secretary also Inaugurated various projects including MGNAREGA road, four sergigation sheds, playground, children park, and 10 socage pits.
A plantation drive was organised at Government High School Konibal Pampore. During the drive, saplings of different species were planted in the premises of the school premises. The forest department employees, a number of students and staff members also took part in the drive.
