Hajin: As part of the ongoing ‘Bhrashtachar Mukt Week’, Municipal Committee Hajin organised an awareness camp in the town hall here on Wednesday.
The program was presided over by ADDC Bandipora Afsar Ali Khan and attended by MC Chairman Irshad Ahmad Wani, Naib Tehsildar Hajin Altaf Hussain, Executive Officer MC Hajin, Sheep and Wool Development Officer Hajin Nuzhat Wali, ICDS Officer Hajin Altaf Hussain, AEO Hajin, Javid Ahmad, JAEO Hajin Mir Hassan, a bank representative of Hajin Mohammad Afsar Khan besides a large number of locals.
While speaking on the occasion, ADDC Bandipora said the aim of observing ‘Bhrashtachar Mukt Week’ is to eradicate corruption and promote transparent and accountable governance.
He said the initiative is a vital step towards eradicating corruption from its roots. He urged people to come forward and help the administration in identifying the officers involved in corruption.
Chairman Municipal Committee on the occasion urged people to participate in the ongoing campaign against corruption by attending the various events and utilizing the grievance and complaint redressal camps.
