PAMPORE: Additional Deputy Commissioner Awantipora Zaffar Husson Shawl along with Tehsildar Pampore Zubair Ahmad Bhat listened to issues, grievances and demands of the public during the weekly Block Diwas program at Townhall Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
All concerned departments were also present during this block Diwas.
On the occasion, the delegations from Pampore, Konibal, Meej and other areas put forth several demands including macdamization of roads in Tulbagh, drainage in Tulbagh, Konibal, water, electricity and widening of link and main roads and other public importance in other places of the Pampore Tehsil.
After listening to the issues of the locals, the ADC Awantipora redressed many grievances on the spot and passed a slew of directions to the concerned officers.
Officials told Kashmir Reader that Additional Deputy Commissioner Awantipora Zaffar Husson Shawl and Tehsildar Pampore Zubair Ahmad Bhat along with officers of various concerned departments during the block Diwas at Townhall Pampore where they listened to grievances of public.
He said that various delegations from Pampore, Tulbagh Konibal, Meej, Lalpora and other villages apprised him about their issues related to various basic problems they are facing.
The chaired officers ADC Awantipora and Tehsildar Pampore on the spot took up their issues with concerned departments and sought their redressal.
They made an earnest appeal to officials of concerned departments for adopting a people friendly attitude.
They also instructed officials to make them selves present in the programme on every Wednesday.
People where informed to seek redressal of their issues in the programme.
Among others Tehsil official Mir Murwat Hussian, AEE PHE Nawaz Ahmad, AEE PDD Javaid Ahmad, TSO Pampore Ayash Farooq, AEE R&B Mushtaq Ahmad, Block Officer Sheep Husbandary Atiqa Malik, Revenue, health, and Officers from all other line departments were present during the day long programme.
