KUPWARA: One person killed while two others including a female were injured in a road accident in border Tehsil Karnah in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday afternoon.
Officials said that a private car bearing registration number DLUCM/3727 met with an accident in Baghbella area of Karnah Kupwara Friday afternoon, resulting three people received injuries who were removed to hospital where one among three identified as Ishfaq Ahmad, 20 son of Abdul Shakoor resident of Dildarbatpora succumbed to his injuries while two other are under treatment. The injured were identified as Ayaz Ahmad 18 son of Mohammad Aslam residents of Dildarbatpora and urfana Muneer 18 daughter of Muneer Ahmad resident of khawarpara.
Meanwhile, police register a case and an investigation has been launched.
