Two SDH Pampore employees win hearts for their excellent work for controlling Covid

PAMPORE: Locals and colleagues shower praise on two dedicated staff members of Sub District Hospital (SDH) Pampore for doing wonderful work for containing the spread of coronavirus infection.
Ghulam Ahmad Khanday and Altaf Hussain, two paramedics from Sub District Hospital Pampore, have won applause for conducting more than one lakh Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 22,000 RTPCR tests. ” Despite getting infected with COVID-19 three times Ghulam Ahmad Khanday didn’t shied away from rendering COVID duties. Both these employees have been doing COVID duties tirelessly for the past two years,” Dr Mohammad Ashraf, Nodal Officer for COVID Control Pampore told Kashmir Reader.
He appreciated both these employees as valued assets for Sub District Hospital Pampore.
Similarly, locals hailed them for doing the job with utmost dedication.
” Altaf was deputed to Sheikh ul Alam International Airport Srinagar for six months where he did excellent job,” a local, Ghulam Qadir said.
Khanday and Altaf were seen by locals at different testing centres in PPE throughout the day during summer as well as winter, locals narrated.
“These days they have been conducting mass sampling and door to door sampling,” Qadir said.
