BARAMULLA: A residential house gutted in a fire incident in Hanjiwera area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday morning.
Locals said that fire broke out in the residential house of Mukhtar Ahmad Malla son of Ghulam Mohammad Malla of Hanjiwera Pattan in the wee hours of Wednesday resulting in the property worth lakhs of rupees reduced to ashes. The cause of the fire was not confirmed, however police registered a report and investigation is going on.
Meanwhile, local people appealed to the government to compensate the victim family, so that they can take some relief.
