ANANTNAG: A team led by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, Ghulam Hassan Sheikh today sealed Al- Qadir poly clinic for brazen violation of COVID-19 protocol.
During a surprise inspection it was observed the medical establishment openly violating standard operating procedure (SOP) meant for fighting covid-19 pandemic.
It was found that patients were not wearing masks and violating physical distancing. Also, sanitizer for the safety of patients, which is mandatory at the places where there is a good footfall of people, was not available.
Addressing the media, the additional deputy commissioner, said that it was sheer irresponsibility on part of doctors to not enforce covid-19 protocol at their clinics specially at the present critical stage when the whole valley is witnessing a spike in positive cases .
