Srinagar: Scores of undergraduate students Tuesday assembled here in Pratap Park Srinagar and staged a protest demonstration against Kashmir University administration demanding relaxation in syllabus for upcoming joint examination of their 5th and 6th semesters.

The protesting students said that since the examination for the 5th and 6th semester are being held jointly, the syllabus should therefore be deducted by 50 percent.

The students alleged that the university was playing with their future and demanded that the backlog examination of the previous semesters be held immediately.

The students also said that the results of the first semester have not been declared yet and demanded the same to be declared immediately.
