Apni Party holds candlelight march in Hajin against civilian killings

BANDIPORA: The Apni Party unit of Sonawari demonstrated a strong sense of solidarity on Thursday by organizing a candlelight march to protest against the recent spate of civilian killings in Kashmir.
The peaceful procession commenced from Jamia Hajin, winding through the streets, and concluded at the Police Station in Hajin. Led by senior party leader Imtiyaz Parray and joined by former chairman of MC Hajin Irshad Ahmad Wani, the rally symbolized a unified stance against the senseless violence afflicting the region.
Chanting slogans, the protesters vocally condemned the civilian killings in Kashmir. Imtiyaz Parray, speaking to reporters, denounced the innocent killings as inhumane acts.
“The candlelight march served not only as a poignant remembrance of the lives lost but also as a resolute call for justice and an end to such tragic incidents,” he emphasized.
Parray also highlighted that the underlying propaganda behind the killings aims to disrupt communal harmony in Kashmir but expressed confidence that such attempts would fail as the people are now more united than ever.
