Pampore: In a notable achievement, a team from Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM-SHRI) Middle School Kakapora in Pulwama district is gearing up to showcase their talent on a national platform.
Comprising eight students, a dedicated teacher serving as a scriptwriter and another as a director, the team has earned the prestigious opportunity to present a science drama/skit at the upcoming Northern India Science Drama in New Delhi on November 23.
Having clinched the top position at the zonal and district levels, the school has been invited to represent Jammu and Kashmir UT at this significant event.
Hameed Ullah Tramboo, the head of the PM SHRI Middle School Kakapora, informed Kashmir Reader that the group, consisting of 8 students and two teachers chosen for the UT-level competition, has departed for New Delhi, where the North India Science Drama competition is slated to unfold on November 23. He said the participation marks a commendable recognition of their accomplishments and promises an exciting showcase of scientific creativity and theatrical talent.
The team was flagged off by Zonal Education Officer Kakapora, Said-U-Din in the presence of school head Hameed Ullah Tramboo and other teachers.
The participating students include Furkan Mushtaq, Sameena Fayaz, Nadeem Maqbool, Irfan Reshi, Adnan Bilal, Mohsin Sajad, Tawqeer Gulzar, and Aysha. The accompanying teachers are Davinder Bangotra and Parveez Ahmad Bhat.
These students participated in the science drama at the zonal level through DIET Pulwama. Subsequently, they took part in the district level, followed by the divisional level. After qualifying and obtaining approval, they are now set to participate at the national level, where they will present their science drama in Northern India.
They are required to present the latest technology and developments in the science drama at the national level, representing J&K UT in Northern India.
