ANANTNAG: In order to discuss the Rent Assessment cases of various house owners and occupied/ housed by Government departments in Anantnag town, the District Rent Assessment Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of DC Anantnag Dr. Piyush Singla.
The DC directed the R&B Department to expedite the process of rent Assessment cases and re- assess the rent cases as per the latest rent schedule of R&B Department. He asked the officers to expedite the rent cases so that the long pending rent Assessment cases can be settled in a time bound manner.
The officers who attended the meeting were ADC Anantnag, Gulzar Ahmad, Additional Commissioner State Taxes Department (Administration & Enforcement) Kashmir, Manzoor Ahmad, Ex. Engineer R&B Anantnag, State Taxes Officer Anantnag, Hamid Ganai and other officers of government departments.
The house owners of private buildings where Government offices are housed also participated in the meeting.
