BARAMULLA: A man was injured in a bear attack in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday morning.
Reports said that Khurshid Ahmad Khan son of Muzaffer Din Khan of Hundi Boniyar was attacked by a black bear outside his home when he was at his fields.
The other people nearby reached the spot and chased the beast, later injured was shifted to nearby primary health centre Boniyar, where he was shifted to GMC Baramulla for advanced treatment.
The condition of the injured is now said to be stable.
