JKYF chairman felicitates senior volunteer, teacher

Srinagar: J&K Yateem Foundation Chairman Mohammad Ahsan Rather has felicitated JKYF’s Senior Volunteer & government teacher by profession Javaid Ahmad Bhat @ Javaid Jawad for receiving Best Teacher Award on the Teachers Day.
On Teachers Day (September 5), nine teachers were awarded Best Teacher Awards by the J&K Administration at a function held at SKICC Srinagar. LG Manoj Sinha presented medals and certificates among the awardees.
Javaid Jawad is one among four teachers from Kashmir Division besides 3 women teachers who were also felicitated on the occasion.
Chairman JKYF lauded the commitment, dedication, honesty and perseverance in fulfilling duty as a Role Model in his profession as a teacher in his own area in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district since last over two decades now.
He said his simultaneous contribution as dedicated and sincere volunteer of JKYF, remains commendable with varied contribution since the inception of J&K Yateem Foundation.
The JKYF functionaries and volunteers from all districts across J&K have also congratulated Javaid Jawad for attaining recognition to be a sincere teacher in creating enabling environment in the best interests of the students at his educational institution.
Currently, Javaid Ahmad Bhat is Head Master at Govt Middle School, Onagam in Bandipora, having specialization in Mathematics.
His endeavour with novel ideas and methodology, has been to infuse interest, enthusiasm and passion amongst the children to learn and get educated in line with modern needs and challenges.
Pertinently, during his supervision as Head, the student roll of the school doubled and parents have expressed satisfaction and happiness while reposing faith in his integrity and leadership qualities.Earlier Jawad received best teacher award in 2011 in district category .
