Makes testing mandatory for all business establishments

RAMBAN: District Disaster Management Authority, Ramban has made COVID-19 testing mandatory for all business establishments in the district including owner, management and staff workers.
As per an order issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam, who is also the Chairman of DDMA, no business establishment shall be allowed to operate without displaying COVID-19 negative report of staff engaged by the owner.
Furthermore, Executive Officers of MCs of Batote, Ramban and Banihal have been directed to prepare a day-wise list of shopkeepers and other service providers and submit the same to Chief Medical Officer, Ramban for their sampling at the nearby testing centres.
Tehsildar concerned have also been directed to get the lists of shopkeepers prepared for sampling through concerned Patwaris in respect of rural areas and share with concerned Block Medical Officer to ensure sampling of shopkeepers and other service providers.
The Medical Superintendent, DH Ramban and BMOs were directed to scale up sampling in their respective jurisdiction.
