Srinagar: Kashmir Trade Alliance(KTA) has demanded immediate restoration of services, saying that it will help in Trade ,Education and Media Activities.KTA President Ajaz Shahdhar said that “We want the government to restore 4G in Kashmir. We need it badly right now”.
He said that the reach of wire-based internet services is limited in Kashmir and not every student has access to it, it becomes impossible for students to attend a lecture on 2G mobile speed.
“Commercial houses, traders, businessmen, professionals and the media fraternity have incurred losses worth crores over the past 17 months,” he claimed. Shahdhar asked why subscribers are being charged regular tariffs by telecom companies when they are not being provided 4G services.
