JAMMU: Commissioner Secretary Department of Floriculture, Parks & Gardens Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad, today reviewed the physical and financial progress of the ongoing projects of the department, here at a meeting of the senior functionaries.
The meeting was attended by Director, Floriculture Jammu, K.S. Chib; Director Finance, Floriculture Department, Imtiaz Ahmad Wani; Executive Engineer, Department of Floriculture, Jammu, S.S Kukal and other senior officers of the Department.
The Secretary reviewed the project wise expenditure and the progress made so far. Directions were issued for completion of all ongoing works in a time bound manner. He also directed the officers to implement the Centrally Sponsored Schemes for development of commercial floriculture at grassroots level.
Later, he inspected the construction work of the office of Directorate of Floriculture, Jammu, Amphitheatre and other works being executed under Languishing category at Bagh-e-Bahu and Bhour Garden, Jammu.
