Srinagar: The `inaction’ of the BSNL authorities has caused immence inconvience to senior scribe, Zahir-ud-Din as a snag in his broadband connection has not been fixed for the past fifteen days.
The senior journo said his broadband connection developed a snag a fortnight ago. “The local lineman came next day and tried his best to restore the facility but all invain. After taking up the matter with the concerned people inthe exchange, he suggested change of port which was refused for unknown reasons.”
The scribe’s complaint evoked a response from the higher authorities in the BSNL but the faclity remains snapped to this day. “A senior officer, Mr Yasin while responding to my call, sent an SMS saying he was on leave. I was told to contact another official,” he said.
The official, he said, responded immediately. On August 7, he said, the official sent a message which read: ” Dear customer, complaint with registeration number 1051045367 on phone number 0194-2470589 has been resolved. If the complaint still persists kindly contact 1500 or 18003451500 for any further queries.”
According to the journo, the problem remains unresolved to this day as all calls on the aforementioned numbers went in vain.
