Doda boy tops class 10th class examination in Jammu

PAMPORE: Momin Islahi son of Iftikar Adil Islahi, a resident of Doda district, presently at Jammu, has topped in the calls 10 examination in Jammu by securing 495 marks out of 500 exams, the results of which were declared Monday .
Momin, who credited his success to the guidance provided by his teachers and parents said that the success was due to guidance of my teachers and support from my parents. “I am happy thatI made both proud,” he said.
He told Kashmir Reader that students should work hard.
“Hard work pays, it doesn’t spoil so I advise students to work hard for achieving their dreams,” he said.
Talking to Kashmir Reader on Phone , Iftika Adil Islahi, who is working as junior assistant under centrally sponsored ICDS department, said that he had great financial constraints as his salary is not released on time.
“I had to struggle financially for purchasing books and other things for him,” he said, adding that as his son was good at studies who topped 8th class in district Doda he never let him realise his financial hardships.
The family shifted to Jammu after their daughter passed her 10th class and decided to prepare for medical entrance examination.
Momin also came to Jammu with his family and was admitted in SP Smart Higher Secondary school Jammu from where he passed his 10th.
“I am very happy with the performance of my son for securing 95 per cent in class 10th examination and I thank Allah for bestowing him brilliance,” he said.
The School management has also congratulated Momin for bringing laurels to school.
“Hard work of students, parents and staff have been blessed by Allah,” the school management said.
The Jammu Kashmir Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE) on Monday declared the results for Jammu division class 10 on Monday.
