Unidentified gunmen Wednesday looted Allaquai Dehati Bank branch in Pulwama, sources said.

Some masked gunmen barged into the branch situated at Wahibug, village on Pulwama district and looted around Rs five lakh.

A police official confirmed the incident and said they were collecting the details.

Soon after the incident, police and forces cordned off the area and started search operation to nab the gunmen, sources said.

This is the second bank looting incident in last three days in South Kashmir.

Gunmen looted over Rs 65,000 from Allaquai Dehati Band Kedar, Yaripora in Kulgam district three days back.
