Says 15-member panel to begin deliberations with CM on Reservation Policy

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) National Convenor, Nasir Khuehami, on Saturday met Nasir Sogami, Advisor to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, and held a detailed and meaningful exchange of ideas on key issues concerning students, particularly the Reservation Policy and the need for related reforms.
Following the meeting, the Association stated that the 15-member JKSA panel on the Reservation Policy is set to begin its deliberations with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah next week, focusing on the ongoing debate surrounding the Reservation Policy in the Union Territory, the JKSA said in a statement issued here.
Khuehami said that the Association has been assured that the Chief Minister is open to engaging in comprehensive discussions with student representatives. He added that dedicated communication channels will be maintained to ensure students can effectively raise and address their concerns, particularly those related to reservation.
