The Illusion Of The World: From Vastness To Hollow Emptiness

Must read

In a digital age obsessed with fleeting pleasures, true fulfillment lies in reconnecting with prayer, knowledge, and genuine human bonds, before it’s too late

The word “world” makes us visualise something vast, but in reality, it has become as small as an atom. There is so much complexity inside, but the outside of the sphere is simple. Now, if anything happens on one side, it is soon reflected on the other, and it has always been bad. Consequently, the world is enveloped by undesirable things.

In our lives, there must have been a time when we sought to become a doctor, artist, scientist, etc. However, as the digital world combined with one’s weaknesses, the mind gradually evolved to crave something else. It is not inappropriate to say that now people have no motive other than amusement and money. Keep money aside—they want it easily, as it necessitates knowledge and effort. Effort is the complement of man.

We are merely deluding ourselves with misleading, sheening pleasures. It seems to bring merriment, but actually, we are just obsessed with these temporary indulgences. It is because our mystical power and mental faculties are too infirm to clash with these menacing pleasures. It is the digital world that has conquered us in many ways, and we are aware of it.

Right now, mysterious things are dominating and have oriented the world into a world of fabrication. Today, beauty standards of Korea, eating routines like Arabs, expenditure like Dubai, and music from all over the world are at their peak—and that’s how the world has verily become hollow. It neither occurred overnight nor took a century; rather, it happened in just a few years.

We acknowledge that, at this time, the world has gained ground and is on cloud nine as well. However, it is not benefiting us in any way. You feel easy access to your account for entertainment. Is that all for you in this world? If one exists aimlessly, then his life is no less than the life of the orthodox. In fact, the latter is perhaps more important even now.

Yes, it is an undeniable fact that right now no one cares about others—but from now on, bear in mind that one doesn’t even care about oneself either. We have already lost everything, and that in one go: prayer, books, play, health, money, respect, love, friends, innocence, wisdom. It might seem like a big loss—but deeper inside, it is a great loss.

One thing is for sure: prayer takes first place, as due to its loss, other things begin to slip from our hands soon. These things couldn’t have brought you success alone, but they are no longer fully extant. You would never find or gain them on social media—and neither had you before. Why are you still obsessed with such things?

How precious are the listed wonders?

Prayer brings mystical strength and peace into one’s life through body and soul. It keeps one connected to divine power, builds mental health along with physical strength, keeps one in solitude for that brief time, removes one from worldly affairs, gives hope and also love for the Almighty.

Books fill one’s empty mind with knowledge and imagination and save the mind from being occupied by the devil.

When we were children, we fell ill less or not at all because we were actually doing exercise. Back then, we were immature and disinterested, but happy. Now we are high-witted and knowledgeable, but sad. It is not because of education—it is because of our changed mindset, and we know what altered it.

Respect, love, and friendship are essential things in one’s life that give a person a jolly good time. However, it only works when there are kith and kin, and friends. It gives the kind of pleasure that even social media and online spaces can’t let you have. Social interactions are like an exercise that fosters love and respect. However, we ourselves ended them, and now we can’t even rebuild them. That’s how the annihilation of all lives begins.

I have already clarified in my previous article that we are the most senseless generation so far. It is because we have merely destroyed ourselves in the pursuit of ease and pleasure. The end is imminent—the brutal end filled with sorrows and regrets. We have been incapable of taking proper advantage of technology and the modern world. Instead, we harmed ourselves, seeing that a man writes his destiny on his own. We could never achieve the wonders, as that required patience and effort. Thus, we couldn’t reach our destination.

At the end, even if time is limited, even if we are modified people, even if we have lost everything—and holding on feels like holding water in our hands—we can once again start life, and that would be our new life. Just take the phones and laptops away, and come to the real world out of the digital one. Because the natural world is full of happiness shrouded in mystery, while the constructed, whimsical realm is grounded in darkness.
