Six feet long snake rescued in a Tangmarg village

BARAMULLA: The Department of Wildlife rescued a six feet long black snake in Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.
A senior official in the wildlife department said that a snake was entered in the compound of a local resident in Hardbani village of Tangmarg and took shelter in a fencing wall for the past two days, he said that villagers informed us and a team of officials visited the spot and captured the snake alive.
Later he was released inside the forests. He confirmed that the snake was more than six feet long and black in colour.
