HAJIN: To commemorate World Environment Day, Hajin Police on Friday organised a plantation drive in the Hajin area as part of its commitment towards environmental conservation and sustainable development.
The drive was conducted under the supervision of Probationary DySP Syed Dayam Kazmi, who, along with other police personnel, actively participated in the programme.
During the drive, a large number of saplings were planted within police premises and at various identified locations across the area with the aim of enhancing green cover, promoting environmental sustainability, and creating awareness about the need to protect natural resources.
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Dayam Kazmi underscored the importance of collective efforts in safeguarding the environment and said that such initiatives play a vital role in building a cleaner, healthier, and greener future for the coming generations.
He also urged the public to actively participate in environmental conservation efforts and contribute towards preserving nature for a sustainable future.
