Urges media to use only official handles as previous ones compromised

SRINAGAR: The President of the Private Schools’ Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK), Dr Baba Nazrul Islam expressed concerns regarding attempts by certain individuals to disrupt the democratic election process within the association.
Addressing a press conference here, Dr Islam strongly criticised the role of “self-styled” members acting beyond their mandate and urged the Apex Central Executive Committee to take immediate disciplinary action to preserve institutional integrity.
To counter such activities, PSAJK has decided to launch a campaign titled “Not In My Name” across all districts. The initiative aims to ensure that no unauthorised representation or exploitation of schools occurs under the banner of the association.
The Apex Executive Committee will convene on April 14, 2026, at the Head Office to deliberate on the ongoing election process and to finalise disciplinary actions against erring members.
Meanwhile, the media fraternity has been requested to carry news bulletins only from ge*******************@***il.com and the official media group, as previous handles have been compromised.
The President reiterated that the election process will proceed as scheduled, with the remaining four districts of the Kashmir division completing their elections in due course.
Furthermore, all schools in District Anantnag have been requested to attend an important meeting scheduled at the district headquarters on April 15, 2026.
