SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Women’s Wing President and MLA Habba Kadal Shameem Firdous Saturday visited fire-affected families in Shal Kadal and Chandpora expressing solidarity and assessing the extent of damage.
Interacting with the victims, she assured immediate support and pressed the administration to fast-track damage assessments and ensure timely compensation. She stressed that relief must reach affected families without delay or bureaucratic hurdles.
Reaffirming her commitment to public welfare, Firdous emphasized prompt rehabilitation and sustained support for the victims.
Later, she conducted a tour of the Habba Kadal constituency, making a stop at Mohalla Ishan Sahib, where she inaugurated a newly completed water pipeline project.
She also visited Fateh Kadal, Ali Kadal and Malikyar areas to inspect ongoing fencing works on both sides of bridges. She directed concerned authorities to expedite completion while maintaining quality standards.
