TRAL (PULWAMA): The Azmat-e-Mustafa (Peace Be Upon Him) Conference was held on March 31, 2026, at the Markazi Jamia Masjid in Batagund Tral, drawing a large crowd from various regions. The event, organized to commemorate the love and devotion for Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), emphasized unity, spirituality, and adherence to Islamic teachings.
Initially scheduled at the Eidgah ground, the program was relocated to the mosque due to unavoidable circumstances. The new venue provided a tranquil environment, enhancing the spiritual atmosphere of the gathering. From early morning, attendees began arriving, filling the streets and parking areas despite traffic congestion. The congregation included men, women, and children, all gathered to participate in the event filled with religious fervor.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Aaqib and Mohammad Shafi Sahab, setting a peaceful tone. This was followed by a Naat recitation by Hafiz Basharat, Imam of the mosque, whose heartfelt recitation received praise from attendees. Abdul Ahad Mujahid then delivered an introductory speech, also reciting a Naat to further elevate the spiritual level of the gathering.
Scholarly speeches followed, beginning with Maulana Syed Hamid Raza, who explained the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). His presentation encouraged the audience to emulate the Prophet’s conduct in daily life. Maulana Mohammad Latif Qadri addressed the audience next, delivering a powerful speech on mortality, the signs of the end times, and the importance of preparing for the hereafter.
The event was presided over by Allama Maulana Abdul Rasheed Dawoodi, who highlighted the significance of the Holy Quran and the challenges faced by today’s youth, including issues like drug addiction and moral decline. His speech called for a renewed connection with religious values and the Quran.
Following the speeches, Naats were recited by various individuals, including the chief guest, Irshad Ahmad Attari, a young man blind since birth, who recited a Naat with emotional intensity. Other Naats were performed by Ifaam Ali and Zahid Nazir, further intensifying the spiritual atmosphere. The audience responded with tears and heartfelt prayers, sending blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Prayers were led by Maulana Mohammad Tahir Baba (Asr prayer) and Maulana Dawoodi himself (Maghrib prayer). The event concluded with a sense of spiritual fulfillment and community bonding.
The success of the conference was attributed to the dedicated efforts of the Sawt Ul Awliya Unit Batagund Tral and local youth, including Dar Aadil, Shahnawaz Gul, Suhail Reshi, Muzamil Rashid, and others. Their commitment and planning ensured smooth proceedings throughout the day.
The event also provided opportunities for attendees to meet notable figures such as Allama Maulana Abdul Rasheed Dawoodi, Irshad Ahmad Attari, Maulana Syed Hamid Raza, and Maulana Mohammad Latif Qadri.
