108 ambulance of DH Pora Kulgam saves precious life

Villagers of Synyadi DK Marg express commend the ambulance staff

KULGAM: 108 ambulance services of the Health and Medical Education Department have been providing round-the-clock services to the people of Jammu & Kashmir since its inception. Even during heavy snowfall and harsh weather conditions, the 108 ambulance of DH Pora has saved a precious life.
This was highlighted on Sunday with the rescue and saving of the life of a woman by the dedicated staff of the DH Pora Kulgam 108 ambulances. The villagers of the far-flung area expressed high appreciation for the prompt response and service provided.
The incident involved a sick lady, Shaheena Banoo from Sunyadi DK Marg Noorabad, who fell ill suddenly. The attendants of the patient immediately called 108 for help. The ambulance, stationed at DH Pora in district Kulgam, was dispatched from the call center.
Despite the harsh weather conditions and heavy snowfall, the ambulance reached the scene on time and rescued the sick lady. She was transported to the Sub-District Hospital DH Pora for further treatment.
In addition to the 108 ambulance, a 4×4 vehicle has also been provided at DH Pora by 108 ambulance services to assist in shifting patients to nearby hospitals during heavy snowfall.
The patient was rescued by the dedicated staff of the 108 Ambulance EMT Mashir Ul Haq and driver Mohd Iqbal . Their prompt and efficient response in adverse weather conditions saved a valuable life.
