Party leader Mohammad Lateef Bhat resolves public issues, encourages youth engagement

Pampore: In a proactive engagement with the public, Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Pulwama District President, Mohammad Lateef Bhat, along with Vice President Mohammad Asif Ganaie, participated in a public darbar held in Saffron Town, Pampore, on Saturday.
A diverse group of individuals and delegations from various areas gathered at Bilal Colony Tanchibagh, Pampore, to voice their grievances during the darbar. They sought the intervention of BJP leaders Mohammad Lateef Bhat and Mohammad Asif Ganaie to address and resolve their issues, according to Bhat.
The BJP leaders promptly resolved several grievances on the spot, using the public darbar as a platform for citizens to connect directly with the BJP leadership. This initiative reflects the party’s commitment to grassroots engagement and responsive governance in Pulwama district.
Mohammad Lateef Bhat, speaking to Kashmir Reader, outlined the day’s program, including the monthly district working committee meeting and constituency-level meetings across Pulwama. He personally assessed the preparations for the upcoming elections in the Pampore constituency during the program, gearing up for the electoral process.
Addressing the concerns raised during the public darbar, Bhat assured the residents of Pampore that he will be available every Saturday to address genuine grievances and work towards resolving them. He emphasized the changing times, noting that issues like faulty electric transformers are efficiently handled without prolonged processes.
Bhat encouraged youth participation in the Panchayat and Urban Local Body elections in Pulwama district, assuring that every BJP candidate will actively engage in each constituency. He highlighted the efficient work undertaken by his daughter, Adv Minah Lateef, a BJP’s DDC candidate for Kakapora B, in installing electric transformers in the Patalbagh area of Pampore. Bhat urged the youth to actively participate in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the positive changes in local issue resolution without the need to approach MLAs or travel to Srinagar.
