Auqaf Diagnostic Centre expands services with new lab in Pampore

Cutting-edge analyzers inaugurated, bringing advanced diagnostics to people

Pampore: In a significant stride towards enhancing healthcare facilities, Auqaf Diagnostic Centre, a unit of Idara Auqaf Islamia Trust Pampore, inaugurated one more lab at its Diagnostic Centre in Drangbal Pampore, in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday. The Bio Chemistry fully automatic analyzer and Hematology 5-part Analyzer were also inaugurated. The inauguration event was held under the chairmanship of President Adv Mohammad Maqbool Shah.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by members of Idara Auqaf Islamia Trust Pampore, reflecting the organization’s commitment to providing cutting-edge healthcare services to the residents of Pampore and surrounding areas.
The newly inaugurated lab boasts advanced equipment, including a Bio Chemistry fully automatic analyzer and Hematology five-part automatic analyzer, which is the only such analyzer in the private sector as well as the government sector in South Kashmir, as per Auqaf officials who informed Kashmir Reader.
This expansion reflects the organization’s dedication to promoting health and well-being, ensuring that Auqaf Diagnostic Centre remains at the forefront of technological advancements in the realm of medical diagnostics. The addition of these sophisticated analyzers is poised to elevate the diagnostic capabilities of the centre, contributing significantly to the overall healthcare landscape in the region.
The cost of tests decreases after installing these new analyzers. The Auqaf Committee Pampore, under the chairmanship of President Mohammed Maqbool Shah, also held a meeting at Diagnostic Centre Drangbal area of Pampore.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Health Ali Jan Qadri, Manager Auqaf Diagnostic Centre Jan Mohammad Sheikh, along with all the executive body of Idara Auqaf Islamia Trust Pampore.
During the meeting, various important issues related to Idara Auqaf Islamia Trust Pampore were discussed, including the up-gradation of Diagnostic machines at Auqaf Diagnostic Centre.
Speaking to Kashmir Reader, President Idara Auqaf Islamia Trust Pampore Mohammad Maqbool Shah said today that they have upgraded their lab, now operating under the name “Auqaf Diagnostic Centre.” They have added new machinery, including a fully automatic biochemical analyzer. They have organized the lab on two floors, with the first floor housing cutting-edge equipment, and the inauguration of the second-floor lab took place today.
The lab is now fully equipped in almost every aspect, boasting top-notch machinery, infrastructure, and main power. It stands as one of the premier labs in South Kashmir.
He told Kashmir Reader that this facility is established not only for the general public but specifically for economically disadvantaged individuals who are in need. For them, testing services are entirely free, and they are not required to pay any money. As for the general public, the facility operates on a no-profit-no-loss basis, charging them only what it costs, which is approximately 50 percent less than the market rates for tests. Regarding the lab’s standards and the volume of tests, the people of Pampore are aware that the lab has top-notch machinery, reliable power supply, and the best available equipment.
This lab is beneficial not only for the economically disadvantaged but also for the general public who can avail themselves of testing services on a no-profit-no-loss basis.
He said that, in addition, they have introduced ultrasound facilities with two dedicated doctors overseeing the operations. People have come to know that high-quality doctors are working in this lab, and the ultrasound machinery, one of the best available, has been imported from Korea. They plan to add more facilities next year, ensuring that eco facilities will also be available here.
Mohammad Maqbool Shah further told Kashmir Reader that Idara Auqaf Islamia Trust Pampore provides free-of-cost medicine to a hundred patients suffering from cancer, diabetes, kidney, heart, and other chronic diseases from Pampore Tehsil on a monthly basis.
Auqaf Diagnostic Centre also provides free investigations for the poor and 50 per cent off for others at the diagnostic centre.
