Srinagar: Peerzada Suhail, a resident of Safarpora District Bandipora, showcased exceptional strength and determination by clinching a bronze medal in the 120 kg weight category at the Powerlifting Championship held in Surat, Gujarat.
The championship witnessed robust participation, with over 900 players representing 18 different states across the country.
Suhail credited his coach, Mohammad Salman, for providing unwavering guidance and support throughout his training. He said the coach not only monitored his progress but also played a crucial role in leading him to this significant accomplishment.
He also giving credit to sports Association Jammu and Kashmir for achieving this feat.
The powerlifting championship took place at the S.M.C community hall in Katargam, Surat, Gujarat, spanning from November 30th to December 3rd, 2023.
