Annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh-ul-Aalam (RA) observed in Ladhoo Pampore

Pampore: The annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-Ud-Din Noorani (RA), also known as Nund Reshi, was celebrated with great religious fervour and enthusiasm at Ladhoo village of Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday.
Nightly gatherings featured prayers and spiritual discourses where scholars highlighted the teachings and life of Sheikh al-Alam (RA).
The renowned Sufi Saint, Islamic preacher and poet Sheikh Noor Ud Din Noorani was born around 1377 in the Kaimoh area of Kulgam district and left for heavenly abodes in 1440.
Speakers emphasized the importance of following the illuminated path of the revered Sheikh, asserting that life’s success lies in walking in the footsteps of the saints. Devotees from Ladhoo Pampore and beyond participated in religious gatherings throughout the day, offering special prayers.
The event drew a significant turnout of believers, spanning youth, elders, and women, reaffirming their commitment to Sheikh al-Alam’s (RA) teachings.
People prayed for the peace and prosperity of the valley.
