Hajin: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from society, police along with Excise Department destroyed wild bhang in the Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday.
A joint team from Police Station Hajin led by SHO Hajin Mohammad Hussian Mugal along with officials of the Excise Department carried out a special drive and destroyed wild bhang in Hajin.
During the drive, a huge quantity of wild bhang spread over the embankments of river Jhelum was destroyed.
People appreciated the police action and assured their full cooperation in the future to eradicate the drug menace from society.
