SRINAGAR: Army Recruitment Office, Srinagar has reported that recruit-ment to Indian Army com-menced on June 16 at An-antnag High Ground under meticulous planning and arrangements of District Administration, Anantnag and HQ 1 Sector RR.

The candidates from UT of Ladakh and UT of J&K par-ticipated in the activities for the selection into Agniveer Technical, Clerk/Store Keep-er Technical and Tradesmen on the first day. The activi-ties of the day were flagged off by Col Vishal Singh, Sena Medal, Representative of Lo-cal Military Authority, Chi-nar Corps, PRO (Defence) Srinagar said in a statement issued here.
