PAMPORE: Scores of youth from different areas of Pampore tehsil took part in Tiranga bike rally organised by Army in Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.
The rally was organised by Army’s 50 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) as part of “Har Ghar Tiranga” programme under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” initiative in Pampore area.
A large number of youth from different areas of Pampore tehsil carrying national flags participated in the bike rally, officials told Kashmir Reader.
The bike rally was flagged off by officials of 50RR in presence of scores of local youth.
An Army officer said that holding such events add to public enthusiasm and inculcate respect for the tricolor.
He urged all the stakeholders to cooperate and coordinate to make the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative a success in the district.
He thanked the local youth who participated in the motor bike Tiranga rally and made the tricolor campaign a success.
