Jammu: A medical awareness camp was today organized under the supervision of Dr. Meenakshi Kotwal, Medical Superintendent Police Hospital- Jammu for jawans and officers of JKAP 4th Security Bn. and IRP 14th Bns at Channi Himmat Jammu.
Dr. Meenakshi Kotwal was accompanied by the team of doctors including Dr. Priyanka Sambyal (ENT Specialist), Dr. Shaista Tabassum (Dental Surgeon), Dr. Rajni Sharma (Ophthalmologist) Smt. Kriti Gupta, Physiotherapist. Shri Ashok Kumar Sharma, Commandant JKAP 4th Security Bn., Smt. Anita Sharma, Commandant IRP 14th Bn. DySP Harvinder Singh, Inspector Shashikant, Inspector Kewal Krishen were present on the occasion.
Medical Superintendent interacting with jawans and officers stressed for availing the facilities which are being provided at Police Hospital, Jammu. She advised them to bring their for medicare facilities at Police Hospital, Jammu.
She informed that in the coming days police hospital would chalk out a programme to check the Jawans who need any medical help. She requested both the Commandants to send their staff in a phased manner to police hospital Jammu so that they could be screened and thoroughly checked-up.
Ashok Kumar Sharma (CO JKAP 4th Security) and Smt. Anita Sharma, (CO IRP 14th Bn.) conveyed their gratitude and thanks to Medical Superintendent Police Hospital Jammu for organizing such an informative session for the health and well-being of Jawans of the Battalions. The visiting doctors who accompanied MS PHJ also delivered informative lectures.
