Day celebrated at GB Panth hospital

Srinagar: Doctors’ Day is observed to show gratitude to doctors for their hard work and determination in saving lives. Every year, Ist July is celebrated as Doctors’ Day to honour those medical professionals and physicians who help save lives all over the world.
The value and service they provide to humans as a whole are simply incomparable. This day is a day of remembrance, gratitude, and ode to doctors worldwide for everything they do for us during the worst moment of our health.
It’s easy to forget just how important, valuable and necessary good doctors are – that is until you get ill or sustain an injury. Doctors Day puts hard-working doctors in the spotlight, and encourages us to be considerate of the long hours they work, their compassion, and the effort they put into practicing medicine.
On the eve of Doctors Day celebrations, a grand ceremony took place at GB Pant children Hospital sonwar. The special thank you messages were paired with a red carnation, the official flower of National Doctors’ Day. Also refreshment was provided to all participants.
A team of pediatricians headed by Dr. Muzaffar Jan head of department of pediatrics visited Cradle Home of ICPS for health checkup of inmates.
On this occasion momentos were presented to Prof (Dr.) Muzaffar Jan ;Hod Pediatrics and Dr. Nazir Chaudhary Medical superintendent GB Pant children Hospital in recognition of their contribution towards betterment of services at the Hospital.
