PAMPORE: Jammu and Kashmir police arrested one more drug peddler and recovered poppy straw from his possession at Saffron Town Pampore area of Police district Awantipora on Monday.
Police party of Police Station Pampore headed by SHO Pampore Adil Ashraf under the supervision of SDPO Pampore Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad during naka duty arrested one more drug peddler when the arrested person was moving in suspicious circumstances at Kadlabal near bridge.
The arrested drug peddler has been identified as Nasir Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, resident of Pulpar Kadlabal, Pampore 03.5 Kilograms of contraband substances poppy straw was recovered from the possession of arrested persons, police officer told Kashmir Reader.
The accused person shifted to police station Pampore.
A case FIR number 33/2022 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Pampore.
