PAMPORE: A body of youth was found under mysterious circumstances at Zinpora area of police jurisdiction Nowgam in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday morning.
The dead body of a 25-year-old youth who was missing since Wednesday evening was recovered under mysterious circumstances.
The body was found in a vast field a few meters away from his house.
The deceased was identified as Taheed Ahmad Dandra (25) son of Ghulam Mohammad, resident of Zinpora area of Budgam district.
Locals told Kashmir Reader that Taheed was working as a generator mechanic at Pampore.
He told Kashmir Reader that a body of a youth was spotted by some locals, who accordingly informed police about mysterious circumstances in the area.
He said that police Nowgam and police Pampore reached the spot and took the body to the hospital for postmortem.
Meanwhile, the body of the deceased was handed over to family members for last rites.
Police Nowgam has started an investigation.
