SKUAST-K holds training programme on organic farming, vermicomposting at KVK/ETC, Pulwama

Srinagar: Directorate of Extension, SKUAST Kashmir kick started a training programme on organic farming and vermicomposting on 12th January, 2022. The programme was held in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Pulwama and NGO-Education Trust Kashmir. This training programme is being sponsored by the Ministry of Fisheries and Dairy Science & Farmers Welfare.
The programme was kic started under the Chairmanship of Director Extension, Prof. Dil Mohmad Makhdoomi. Prof. & Head KVK, Dr. Masarat Shafi, besides members form NGOs of Extension Training Kendra (ETK) and other scientists participated under all COVID-19 prevention protocols.
The training includes lectures, demonstrations and filed visits to upscale the farming skills of the farming community. The Extension Training Kendra (ETK) members and farmers thanked the Vice-
Chancellor, SKUAST-K, team Directorate of Extension and KVK Pulwama.
