Students of Government Polytechnic College Kishtwar visit NHPC Dulhasti Power Station

SRINAGAR: NHPC Dulhasti Power Station is organising various programs under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav from time to time. In this sequence, visit of 5th semester students of Electrical Engineering Department of Government Polytechnic College, Kishtwar to the power house of Dulhasti Power Station.
The officials of NHPC guided the students on their visit to control room, machine gallery and various other components of the power house and also gave detailed information about the electricity generation and power house operation. On this occasion, Rajan Jairath, General Manager (In-Charge), Dulhasti Power Station addressed the students at the Conference Hall of Power House.
In his address, he made the students aware about the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and also informed about the contribution being made by Dulhasti Power Station in the development of the local area and the country under the Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme along with power generation. He wished the students all the best and wished them for a brighter future.
At the conclusion of the program, Rajan Jairath, General Manager (In-Charge) encouraged the students and teachers by presenting them mementos. The teachers of Government Polytechnic College, Kishtwar thanked Rajan Jairath, General Manager (In-Charge) and NHPC for organizing the visit. Rajan Jairath has recently assumed the charge of General Manager (In-Charge) / Head of Power Station (HOP) of Dulhasti Power Station, NHPC. Rajan Jairath is the 22nd Head of Power Station (HOP) of Dulhasti Power Station. Earlier, Rajan Jairath was working as General Manager (Civil) at NHPC Uri-II Power Station, Baramulla. On this occasion, Surendra Kumar Mishra, General Manager (Electrical), Gursharan Singh, Deputy General Manager (Electrical), Sanjay Kumar Gupta, Senior Manager (Electrical), Ashok Kumar Dhanwal, Senior Manager (HR), Amarjeet Singh, Senior Manager (Electrical), Manoj Kumar, Senior Manager (Mechanical) and teachers of Government Polytechnic College, Kishtwar, Sanjay Gupta, Dheeraj Prakash Shan, Karishma Parihar and other teachers along with officers and employees of Dulhasti Power Station were present.
