Army holds medical camp at Phobrang Ladakh

Srinagar: Parashu Brigade under the aegis of Fire & Fury Corps conducted a Medical and Veterinary Camp in the remote villages of Phobrang & Urugo near the Pangong Tso Lake at an altitude of 14,200 feet. The camp was an effort towards bringing medical & veterinary help, in far flung areas near LAC by Indian Army under Op Sadbhavana. This was also to acknowledge the immense support provided by locals to Indian Army in all aspects.
The medical team of Parashu Healers consisting of three doctors and one veterinary assistant carried out medical check up of 62 men, 57 women, 26 children, 48 senior citizens, besides livestock. The villagers appreciated the initiative of Indian Army and the overwhelming response of the populace was an indication of the success of such endeavors.
