Nagandar Khrew, Pampore residents applaud Tehsildar Pampore for rehabilitating two orphans

Pampore: The residents of Nagandar village of Khrew and Pampore area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district have appreciated Tehsil administration for rehabilitating two orphan siblings.
Abdul Ahad, village head of Nagandar told Kashmir Reader that two minor, poor brothers, who have lost both of their parents/ father three and half years ago and mother a few months ago, were living in dire straits.
” They were living in great difficulty and I brought their plight into the notice of Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din,” he said.
He told Kashmir Reader that Tehsildar Pampore took up the matter with concerned officials and both the orphan boys were taken to an orphanage at Patalbagh Pampore.
” On day one they were taken there and the next day they volunteered to shift here,” Abdul Ahad said.
He applauded Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din for taking a keen interest in rehabilitating the two boys.
” We are very fortunate to have such a sincere officer,” he said.
Tehsildar Pampore also visited the orphanage Patalbagh and enquired about the condition of the both minor orphans.
Irshad Ahmad, a local resident of Patalbagh Pampore, told Kashmir Reader that Tehsildar Pampore regularly visits orphanage at Patalbagh and enquires about the orphans living there. He thanked and applauded Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din.
Taking to Kashmir Reader Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din said that he came to know about two orphans from Nagandar Khrew village of Pampore, one in class 3rd and other in 5th class.
” Their uncle was looking after them but at the end of the day they were orphans and living in great difficulty,” he said.
He said that in tie up with the social welfare department admitted them to a government run orphanage at Patalbagh where they get all boarding and lodging facilities with provision for education. Tehsildar also told Kashmir Reader that he will take up the matter with Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Baseer-Ul-Haq Choudhary and seek some relief from Red Cross.
He also informed people from the Tehsil to contact them if they know such cases in their area.
