PULWAMA: Director School Education Kashmir Tasaduq Hussain Mir along with Chief Education Officer Pulwama Abdul Hye Rafiqi visited far flung areas of District Pulwama kickstart a mega enrolment drive in government schools in the district.
The other officers present in the mega Enrollment drive were DEPO Manzoor Ahmad, Principal Hr. Sec. Chursoo and incharge ZEO Awantipora Mohammad Ashraf Aga, Headmaster Govt High school Awantipora, ZEO Kakapora, ZEO Shadimarg and other dignitaries of the department who visited zone Shadimarg, Kakapora, and Awantipora where several meetings and rallies were held to motivate the general public to take the benefit of different government schemes by admitting their children in government run schools without wasting their time and hard earned money.
The director visited the remote and far flung areas with a strong message to provide help to the people by facilitating them free of cost education at their door steps, the benefit of scholorships, mid day meals, free books and uniforms, providing education without paying any tution fee, winter coaching classes, computer education, games and sports avenues, health care and other like schemes, officer of education department told Kashmir Reader.
The different aspects of new education policy were also emphasised and discussed during the interaction sessions and the stake holders were stressed to go through the new policy to implement it in letter and spirit to reach every child in every nook and corner of the society.
The people at large encouraged the drive by their presence and support and a positive signal went around which is evident by the speedy enrolment in government run Schools.
The director along with CEO Pulwama, DEPO Pulwama, incharge ZEO and Principal HSS Chursoo Awantipora , headmaster Higher Secondary Awantipora and other concerned officials had a boat show to reach Aghanzpora Awantipora for mega enrolment drive where general public, parents and school going children warmly welcome them with greetings. They held a public interaction in which the people decided to enrol their children in nearby Government run schools now in future.
The general public hailed the officers especially worthy DSEK Tasaduq Hussain and CEO Pulwama Rafiqi for their best public friendly approach for reaching to the grass root level and lifting the poor sections of the people by their high and untiring efforts in the department.
