SRINAGAR: On the eve of ‘National Journalism Day’ celebrated every year on 17th November across India, the Cultural Unit Srinagar of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) today organised a debate in Conference Hall of DIPR Srinagar on “Social Media Journalism”.
Before the debate began, a two-minute silence was observed in memory of the well-known journalist Shahid Bukhari who passed away recently and prayers were offered for his forgiveness and eternal peace.
Prominent journalists and media personalities including, Shabir Ahmad Mir (News18 Urdu) , Mohammad Aslam (KNS), Rasheed Rahi (CNS), Senior Journalists Syed Tajamul, Nazir Ganaie, Farzana Mumtaz, M. Afzal Bhat, Shahana Fatima, participated in the debate.
