PAMPORE: A Special Lok-Adalat was held on Wednesday at Munsif Court Complex Pampore in which forty two cases including civil and criminal were disposed off and an amount of rupees 11 lakh, sixty one thousand and six hundred rupees has been recovered from the violators as fine, officials told Kashmir Reader.
Tehsil Legal Services Committee Pampore under the Chairmanship of Junaid Imtiyaz Mir Judicial Magistrate Pampore under the able and noble guidance of Chairman District Legal Services Authority Abdul Rashid Malik Principal District and Sessions Judge Pulwama and Secretary District Legal Services Authority Reyaz Ahmad Chowdhary organised a Special Lok Adalat as part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” at Munsif Court Complex Pampore in which a bench was constituted which was presided over by Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Pampore Junaid Imtiaz Mir (KCS Judicial) and Bar President Adv. Aijaz Ahmad Khan in which various cases were taken up out of which 42 cases were disposed off and fine for an amount of Rs. 11,61,600 was recovered from the violators, violating the Motor Vehicle Acts and in Criminal matters. Civil matters and cases under section 138 (Cheque Bounce Cases) were also taken up and resolved through the intervention of Special Lok-Adalat Bench.
