LG Manoj Sinha e-inaugrates oxygen generation plant at SDH Pampore

PAMPORE: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday e-inaugurated Oxygen Generation Plant under the PM CARES fund at Sub District Hospital Pampore.
On the occasion he addressed a doctors included BMO Pampore Dr Asma Nazir, RMO Dr Mohammad Ashraf, doctors, Paramedics and other staff members.
The oxygen plant installed in the premises of Sub district hospital Pampore, officials told Kashmir Reader.
The plant was to be e -inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, due to his busy schedule, the plant was inaugurated by LG Manoj Sinha, he said.
They informed that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 35 pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen plants established under the PM CARES fund across 35 states and Union Territories in an event at AIIMS Rishikesh in Uttarakhand on Thursday.
BMO Pampore Dr Saba and RMO Dr Mohammad Ashraf expressed their gratitude to LG Manoj Sinha for starting this great facility for general public.
“Today LG Manoj Sinha e -inaugurated oxygen generation plant in presence of Advisor Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, Dr Arun Kumar Mehta and Additional Chief Secretary Vivek Bhardwaj here at Sub district hospital, I am very happy as it will facilitate patient care at SDH Pampore with respect to assured oxygen supply,” Dr Saba Nazir, BMO Pampore told Kashmir Reader , adding that they are preparing for 3rd wave of COVID and this facility will help them in the fight as they will not be forced to look for oxygen as it was witnessed during 1st and 2nd wave.
Local residents of Pampore also hailed authorities for installing the oxygen generation plant in the hospital.
A local resident said it would ease the suffering of patients and attendants would not have to run for arranging high flow oxygen.
