DC Shopian tours Kripal Mocha, Nagabal, Shopian other adjacent Villages

SHOPIAN: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today visited Kripal Mocha, Nagabal, Shopian and other adjacent villages to take stock of the pace of ongoing developmental works being executed by various executing agencies.
During the visit, the DC stressed for completing all ongoing works within the shortest possible time. He directed for ensuring regular monitoring of works to ensure their completion at an earliest.
The DC visited Kripal Mocha, Nagabal, Shopian, where he took stock of the arrangements made for performing religious rituals by pandits. He also met DDC Members who put forth some issues for early redressal.
The DC assured them that all their genuine demands and issues would be looked into and solved within the shortest possible time.
He also paid surprise visit to Primary Health Centre, Zawoora and interacted with the people including pandits being vaccinated there and enquired from them about the treatment being provided to the patients at the health centre.
The DC exhorted upon the health functionaries to work with added zeal and leave no stone unturned in mitigating the problems faced by the general masses.
He also inspected the macadamization work of the main road from Zawoora to Devpora to Sarbal, and the last village of Gujjar Basti facing tremendous problems. Vaishya heard all the delegations patiently and assured them that all their genuine issues would be resolved. He stressed the concerned executing agencies to speed up the macadamization work at an earliest to facilitate the people of the areas where macadamization works are going on.
The DC also met several public delegations during the tour who put forth various developmental issues of their respective villages before him which include scarcity of potable drinking water facility, electricity, road connectivity, drainage system, solar lights, fencing of playing fields and Ziyarats and others.
